Toyota Fortuner 2011 Toyota Motors is celebrating one year of its premium SUV model Fortuner in India. The company has announced the introduction of the ‘Fortuner Anniversary Edition’. It has already sold over 10,000 models since it was first launched last year on August 24, 2010. Toyota has introduced only 250 units Toyota Fortuner of the limited edition model which will be available only on Pearl White colour. There are only minor changes on the exterior which include body colored spoilers from the front and rear bumper and rear roof. The exhaust muffler is now coated with chrome garnishing to make it special.
At its heart, the anniversary edition Toyota Fortuner comes with 3.0 L TDCI D-4D, DOHC diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission gear box. An “Anniversary Edition” label is also present on the tailgate emphasising the limited variant.
