Peugeot 3008

Peugeot 3008
Once again, the forthcoming Peugeot 3008 crossover that will debut at the Geneva motor show this March, has been caught completely undisguised. These photos, courtesy of the members over at 'Forum-Peugeot', reveal that little has changed from Peugeot's Prologue concept car that was unveiled at the Paris show last October. The compact crossover is based on the Peugeot 308 hatchback and it's supposed to combine the practicality of an MPV with off-road ability of an SUV. Just like its most apparent rival, the Nissan Qashqai, the 3008 will be offered in front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions.

Fiat Panda Mini

Fiat Panda Mini
Hmm; finding it a bit difficult to tell the differences between the 2009MY and 2010MY Fiat Panda? Well, can't say that we blame you as we ourselves had to thoroughly check out the press release to discover the changes. On the outside, all 2010 model year Pandas adopt the more contemporary body colored grille found on the 4x2 and 4x4 Dynamic variants, new alloy wheel options, larger exterior mirrors and silver trim finish for the roof bars. Fiat has also added four new exterior colors to the lineup.

Toyota 2000GT

Toyota 2000GT
At last weekend's Tokyo Salon 2009, Mr. Makoto Kobayash and his company Road Star Garage from Aichi, Japan, launched their latest Toyota 2000GT replica, this time based on the 1970's Datsun Fairlady Z S30 - known in most markets as the 240Z and later as 260Z and 280Z. Whereas the original 1965 Toyota 2000GT used a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated, straight six producing around 150HP, Road Star Garage fitted the replica with a Nissan Skyline GT-R derived and NISMO prepped, twin-turbocharged RB26 N1 six-cylinder unit.

Toyota Etios

Toyota Etios
Toyota quite made up for their absence in the mass-market segment in the country after over a decade of being here. The much-talked about Toyota 'small car' was finally unveiled to the world at the Auto Expo today. Well, not the production car, but the hatchback and sedan concepts. We may call them concepts, but they are pretty close to what the final cars will look like when they come off the Toyota Kirloskar Motor assembly line very soon.

2010 Audi Quattro

2010 Audi Quattro
Audi's Quattro system is 30 this year, introduced on the Ur-Quattro at the 1980 Geneva Motor Show. To celebrate, Audi has a full year of activities planned, including a special exhibition at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt, a place at the Techno Classica in Essen, and Audi Tradition hauling momentous examples of Quattro to shows around Europe. It's interesting to ponder where Audi would have gone without Quattro. In America the tech and halo associations that emanated from the marque's Group B rally eating monsters helped it go from being perceived as a maker of really nice VWs to a luxury line with a unique, finessed brawn.
