The era of custom coachwork in the 1930s came before mass-market design and unit body construction, however, Anteros Coachworks have brought back the old tradition by offering their Corvette XTM. Named after the ancient god of Passion, the Anteros features a completely redesigned body, interior and performance upgrades. It was styled by Roger Hector with financial backing from entrepreneur John Rothman. They hope their new Corvette will win over enough customers to make a limited production run next year.

Keen to immerse myself in the full ownership experience, I decided to go on the annual Smart London-to-Brighton rally. You know, slide the roof back, scoot down to the south coast, look at the sea, eat chips, come home. But the nice people at Smart had another idea. They were bringing over the one-off (but we made ten just to be sure) Brabus Roadster V6; did I want to lead the rally in it? Erm, okay.

So Paris gets arrested, goes to jail, gets out of jail, picks up a summer rental on the Malibu Beach and decides to bring out her old Silver Bentley Continental GT Coupe that she has had stashed away ever since she got her Bentley Continental GT Convertible that we reported on earlier Hilton’s Bentley GTC.
