Opel said it has revised the Corsa’s major suspension components and steering system, resulting in better ride comfort, more precise steering and greater directional stability. Corsa continues to offer a wide range of gas and diesel engines, which have been refined to provide more torque, improved fuel economy and lower emissions. Gas engines range from the entry-level 64-horsepower, 1.0-liter three-cylinder to the 189-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder on the Corsa OPC.
Corsa also offers 1.3- and 1.7-liter four-cylinder turbodiesels, including a revised ecoFLEX 1.3 CDTI that returns 64 mpg on the European test cycle and emits a low 98 g/km of CO2. In Germany, the new Corsa will come in several new special editions, including a sporty Color Line series, as well as a 111 Limited Edition to mark the brand’s 111th anniversary.
